Wind of changes
October 24, 2010 at 04:20 PM | categories: work, plone | View CommentsThis year has brought me a lot of happiness and a lot of changes. Now it is time again. Marriage and new projects a head.
For over 6 years my company, Valentine Web Systems has had EEA as their main customer and I have been there full time working on some very cool Plone projects. The lates project SENSE, that is due in November was to enable RDF import and exports of Plone content. This will be used in the upcoming SOER 2010 report to import content directly from countries and their feeds. This is a big change for EEA and EU countries from previous printed reports and bad traceability. The future is unknown
Today I informed the customer that when the SENSE project is delivered it is time for me to do other stuff. It has been great 6 years for me, my company and hopefully my customer EEA. Next I will go to Plone conference 2010 and give two talks, one about multilinguality and one how to make external e-commerce work with Plone. If someone wants to talk linkeddata, semantic and RDF or e-commerce during the open space ping me.
What lays ahead after that is not totaly known and I am open for suggestions. I will continue with Valentine Web Systems and I hope to do more cool Plone related projects, trainings and also start some e-commerce of my own.
What is known though, is that I will get married to my lovely Nelya in 3 days!
